Dr. Roger Yang received his medical degree from Northwestern University, Chicago, IL. He completed his Radiology residency at SUNY Downstate and was elected chief resident at SUNY Downstate. He is fellowship trained in Women’s Imaging, which he completed at SUNY Downstate. Dr. Yang is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Radiology.
After his fellowship training, Dr. Yang was an Associate Professor of Radiology at SUNY Downstate. He then held a faculty appointment at the University of Connecticut and was Chief of Breast Imaging and Intervention at Hartford Hospital. He joined Associated Radiologists in 2001. Dr. Yang was Chairman of Radiology at Somerset Medical Center between 2003-2007.
Dr. Yang is a member of the Radiology Society of North America, Society of Breast Imaging, Radiologic Society of New Jersey, American College of Radiology, and the American Roentgen Ray Society. He has been on Castle-Connelly's list of top doctors for many years and was honored by New Jersey Monthly magazine as one of the top radiologists in the state in 2005. He has been honored by New Jersey Savvy Living Magazine as a top doctor in Women's Health each year between 2005 and 2009. Dr Yang was also listed as Inside Jersey magazine's "Top Doctor" for women in 2009. He lectures locally and teaches residents at Somerset Medical Center.
