Dr. Gordon E. Melville received his medical degree with honors from the
University of North Carolina School of Medicine, Chapel
Hill, NC. He completed his Radiology residency at George Washington University
Hospital, Washington, DC. He completed fellowship training in Neuroradiology
at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, Mass, during the development
of MRI. Dr. Melville is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners
and the American Board of Radiology. He has a Certificate of Added Qualification
in Neuroradiology.
Dr. Melville served as Chairman of the Department of
Radiology at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center from 1991-2001. He is
a member of the Radiology Society of North America, American College of
Radiology, American Society of Neuroradiology and New Jersey Radiological
Society. He has authored chapters in leading Neuroradiology textbooks,
and enjoys teaching residents and medical students. Dr. Melville has been
recognized by Castle-Connelly as one of the New York Metropolitan Area
Top Doctors.
