Kevin B. Hoover, M.D., Ph.D.

Kevin B. Hoover, M.D., Ph.D. attended the University of California, Berkeley where he received his B.A. with honors in Molecular and Cell Biology in 1992. He went on to receive his Ph.D. and M.D. degrees, in 2000 and 2002 respectively, from the University of California, Irvine College of Medicine. He was a Surgical Intern from 2002-2003 for St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York.

In 2003, he went on to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, where he completed a Diagnostic Radiology Residency in June of 2007 and passed the American Board of Radiology examinations. At Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Hoover completed an integrated Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship and was a Clinical Fellow at Harvard Medical School.

From 2005 through 2007, Dr. Hoover gained professional experience reading MRI, CT, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine studies as a part-time staff member at various Massachusetts hospitals and imaging centers.

Dr. Hoover maintains academic interests in MRI and cross-sectional imaging of the body and joints, musculoskeletal imaging, and interventional radiology procedures. He has published articles in several publications including Skeletal Radiology, Journal of Pediatric Surgery, and New England Journal of Medicine.

Dr. Hoover joined Princeton Radiology in 2007. He is a member of the American Roentgen Ray Society, the American College of Radiology and the Radiological Society of North America.
